Pulse Healthcare is currently seeking a Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Hounslow, Middlesex. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 6), your key responsibilities include providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients with complex needs. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the delivery of personalised therapy tailored to each patient's goals. You will also take a lead role in supervising and mentoring junior staff and students, contributing to their professional development. Additionally, you will manage a caseload effectively, prioritising based on clinical need, and support the continuous improvement of services through participation in audits, service reviews, and training initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a focus on patient-centred care
Qualifications and Experiences:
Be HCPC registered as an Occupational therapist
Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational therapy
Previous NHS experience within mental health
Must have A&E dept, Acute, Medical, ED experience.
