Synopsis of the role The Canadian Consumer Solutions organization at Equifax is seeking a results-oriented Product Manager reporting to the Line of Business Leader, CCS, to lead the product management functions for the Direct to Consumer and Partnership business. This would include a thorough understanding of the market, competition and industry, segmentation, customer needs analysis, creating customer journeys, customer personas and business requirements for development. This role will be responsible for Product Definition and strategy working in partnership with cross-BU product leaders on a shared platform. Also working in partnership with pricing and IT technology and operations teams for execution and delivery. The role is accountable for business casing for all new products/features/capabilities as applicable to ensure return on the investment. Strong partnership and experience with marketing to support digital enablement and go to market functions. What You’ll Do Provide thought leadership in the creation of product strategy and portfolio management, maximizing opportunities through comprehensive solutions and marketing plans relevant to the assigned market/vertical Identify and develop new solutions leveraging market expertise, direct customer feedback and input from customer facing teams Manage new product innovation, and life cycle management from idea to strategies to product plans, driving the definition and execution through partner teams Lead product strategy, road-mapping, and design to align to market demand and strategic goals and engage with global product teams to leverage best practices and global trends Identify, implement and manage product partnerships to drive revenue growth and market penetration Develops business cases for new value-add products/features, including analysis of market, competitors, opportunity size, business casing, development, launch and plan. Financial services experience, preferably with exposure to retail customers and credit What Experience you need 7+ years of experience in product management for D2C and/or B2B2C A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience within financial services, preferably with exposure to retail customers and credit 5+ years of experience leading product development, launch and lifecycle management Experience of at least 3+ years developing business cases, effectively communicating and managing to ROI 3 to 5 years of experience developing digital services in data-rich technology environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable leveraging large amounts of data to drive decisions and a passion for continuous innovation, differentiations and customer service excellence What could set you apart Experience of launching a digital product first of its kind in the market.
