We offer a flexible hybrid work mode allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices.Primary ResponsibilitiesWithin multidisciplinary teams of Earth & Environnement, participate in projects of design, rehabilitation or construction of buildings, roads, engineering structures, hydraulic structures, earthworks, slope stability, soil dynamics, temporary and permanent supports, deep and conventional foundations, for private or public, institutional or industrial clients, mainly in Quebec but also elsewhere in Canada. Your contribution to the team:Conduct complete geotechnical studies from planning to report writing, including surveys, drilling, laboratory tests, as well as design recommendationsInspect, assess the safety and bring concrete and earth dams up to standardParticipate in studies on tunnels and rock wall stability, including discontinuity surveys and potential landslide plans using a droneCoordinate studies, engineering, field work, subcontractors and suppliersPrepare tender documents to respond to interdepartmental or public service offersSupported by experienced draftsmen, prepare plans and specifications for earthworks, slope stabilization, bank protection, etc.Participate in the training and supervision of CPIs or internsQualificationsUniversity degree in civil or geological engineering and specialization in geotechnicsExperience or master's degree in hydrogeology or rock mechanics or soil dynamics or permafrost would be an assetMinimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnicsMember of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du QuébecKnowledge of slope stability, flow and/or finite element analysis softwareThe candidate must demonstrate excellent teamwork skills within multidisciplinary engineering teams composed mainly of geotechnical and geological engineers and environmental specialistsFluency in French and English, both oral and written, is required for this position in order to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including our clients, partners and cross-sector staff at the national level. Strong ability to work simultaneously on various projectsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to ensure effective communication with clients on the progress of workProject management skills to ensure compliance with budgets, established deadlines and administrative monitoring of filesWhy choose CIMA+?
