The Opportunity: We are seeking an individual eager to enhance their expertise in leading the agile practice of a product team. We require someone adept at facilitating the delivery practice of a product team, capable of grasping the team's needs, and enthusiastic about cultivating a continuous learning mindset. In this role, you will: Coach, mentor, and support team members in agile practices. Facilitate collaboration and continuous improvement to enhance team productivity, efficiency, and delivery. Serve as a key contributor and informal leader within a cross-functional Product team. Champion a culture of open communication, feedback, and accountability. How you will make an impact: Your responsibilities as a Junior Agile Team Lead may include: Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to individuals, teams, and leaders on agile principles, values, and practices while displaying flexibility and openness to navigate real-world challenges. How to develop into Empowered teams by building an understanding and embracing of the agile mindset and methodologies while establishing solid principles. Facilitation and Communication Skills: Lead agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Ensure effective and empathetic communication, collaboration, and decision-making within the team. Process Improvement: Identify areas for team process improvement Collaborate closely with teams to implement agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Encourage experimentation and adaptation to optimize team performance. Team Empowerment: Cultivating a self-organizing and high-performing team culture by promoting autonomy, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. Assist teams in identifying and overcoming obstacles to ensure smooth progress and delivery of value. Agile Metrics and Reporting: Identify, define, track, and analyze key agile metrics to measure team delivery and performance. Change Management: Act as a change agent to promote the agile mindset and health culture within a team or across departments. Collaborate with leadership to align their expectations and ensure commitment to the agile journey. Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and refine agile coaching approaches and strategies to enhance team effectiveness. Confidence, Humility, and Innovation: Utilize powers of observation to understand and inspire individuals and teams to change and improve. Showcase creativity in problem-solving and the ability to remove obstacles innovatively. Qualifications: Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) 2+ years of experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or similar) Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or other pertinent Agile certifications are desirable. Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA/Confluence is essential. Knowledge of Agile principles and values, and continuous learning. Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
