As the Director, Talent Acquisition, you will lead recruitment teams supporting Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, and National Programs. This Toronto-based role is responsible for driving talent strategies that align with business priorities. As a trusted Talent Advisor, you will liaise with the Human Resource Business Partners and the business leaders to ensure best in class talent acquisition strategies are in place for each business. Your experience leading and developing teams of world class Recruiters will allow you to create a team who is trusted to find and hire the talent to build the future of RBC. What will you do? Manage and lead teams across Ontario to ensure appropriate recruitment is provided to each business segment. Encourages quick thinking, expert sourcing skills and a proactive/predictive approach towards talent acquisition. Ensure appropriate sourcing techniques including complex search techniques, recruitment strategies, and consulting capability are developed and implemented to enable effective candidate attraction, identification and selection. Consult with business leaders to identify recruitment needs and create targeted and proactive recruitment strategies including segmented approaches where appropriate. Represent recruitment at the leadership level, as an expert and support to the business. What do you need to succeed? Strong business acumen and knowledge of the financial services industry, experience working in the banking sector is preferred Proven experience leading a talent acquisition function supporting a revenue generating business Proven ability to formulate strategies, analyze data and build presentations that will enhance talent acquisition practices and outcomes, both in the experienced hire and programmatic space People management experience with a global, diverse team Strong customer focus and an ability to effectively and quickly build relationship and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence.
