? Immediate Opportunity for a DevOps Engineer!
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a high-impact modernization project on a short-term contract in Downtown Toronto.

You're a solutions-driven DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation, performance, and secure, scalable systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with developers, QA, and InfoSec to make deployment smoother and faster. You bring a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability - and you're always looking for ways to optimize and improve.
? Work Type
Hybrid (2-3 days per week required in the office)
Office Location: Toronto, Ontario
Contract Length: Contract goes until Oct 17, 2025, with the possibility of extension (must be incorporated)
? What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers):
Monitor, diagnose, and optimize system performance while ensuring robust security measures are in place.
Assist with application release processes to ensure smooth, error-free deployments.
Configure environments and automate processes to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Integrate security tools and practices into the DevOps pipeline to enhance system protection.
Re-engineer and enhance SDLC practices to improve speed, reliability, and collaboration.
Provide insights on system architecture, risk assessment, and operational impact to guide decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement in system availability, security, and performance through proactive measures.
? What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist):
3+ years of proven experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role
Intermediate to advance level in SQL, .NET, C# and PowerShell
Experience in solving complex problems in build, deploy and system monitoring solutions
Advance level in source control and branch strategy design
Advance level in git bash
Intermediate to advance level in Azure DevOps or similar tool stack CI/CD pipeline setup
Intermediate to advance level in Windows server and SQL server environment setup
Familiar with static/dynamic code analysis and coverage tool such as Veracode and SonarQube
Experience with server environment configuration automation
Nice-To-Have:
Experience in Azure Cloud and Terraform
Experience in container tool stack such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in Desired State Configuration
Experience in ELK stack or Splunk
Experience in Web API and Microservices
