As the Senior Director, Revenue Operations at Hiive, you will architect the future of revenue operations at a company poised for explosive growth. We are seeking an ambitious, strategic, and accomplished leader with a growth mindset who has a proven track record of building and scaling a world-class Revenue Operations function and team within a high-performing startup or innovative financial services organization. You will play a critical role in strategizing, building, and leading the infrastructure that underpins our high-performing sales teams. You will be a key partner to our executive team, directly influencing our go-to-market strategy and execution. Your systems-thinking approach will be instrumental in creating a seamless, scalable, and data-driven revenue engine that propels Hiive to new heights.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
Plan, procure, maintain, optimize, and oversee the entire sales technology stack, including Salesforce, Airtable, outbound sales tools, research platforms (such as Pitchbook and Crunchbase), and communication systems. You will be the architect of our tech ecosystem, ensuring it is cutting-edge, efficient, and scalable.
Develop and maintain CRM systems and processes to ensure unparalleled data and process integrity and usability. You will streamline workflows, automate where possible, and ensure our data is a strategic asset.
Work with sales leaders to establish and manage an operational cadence for the sales organization, including forecasting, pipeline review, and performance management. Create and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports that provide sales professionals and executives with crystal-clear visibility into key team and individual performance metrics, driving informed decision-making.
Strategize approaches to and lead a high-performing team of lead generation researchers, constantly innovating to expand our reach and accelerate our pipeline.
Implement and manage sophisticated lead scoring models, lead routing, and automation rules to ensure maximum efficiency and conversion.
Collaborate with sales and sales-adjacent teams to identify, analyze, and relentlessly enhance sales processes, prioritizing efficiency, scalability, and tech-debt reduction. You will be a champion for leveraging AI to reduce manual work and dramatically increase speed and efficiency across all revenue operations.
Partner with sales leaders to develop scalable training and development programs that empower our sales professionals to achieve their full potential.
Set up, implement, and analyze large-scale outbound sales campaigns, continuously optimizing for impact and ROI.
Build and then provide dynamic leadership and mentorship to the Revenue Operations team, fostering a culture of growth, high performance, and accountability. You will be deeply invested in the career development of your team, attracting and retaining top talent.
Required Skills:
10+ years of progressive experience in revenue or sales operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role building and scaling a function and team.
Proven track record of successfully building, optimizing, and leading a revenue or sales operation function and team within a high-growth startup or innovative financial services organization.
Deep expertise in Salesforce administration, configuration, and optimization, with a strong understanding of its capabilities for sales and revenue processes.
Proficiency with key sales technology tools including outbound sales platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft), CRM systems, and reporting/BI tools.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
Demonstrated experience in process improvement, automation, and leveraging technology (including AI/ML concepts) to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Strong understanding of sales methodologies, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics.
Accomplished people leader with a passion for mentorship, talent development, and fostering a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance considerations in a sales context.
Experience in a B2B sales environment with complex sales cycles.
