Roles and Responsibilities: Gain expertise in GEA FT’s “Robotic Milking Concept” and “Good Cow Milking” techniques, including basic hygiene knowledge. Provide expert on-farm and remote support, training, and usage guidance for DairyPlan, DairyNet Suite, CattleEye, and CowScout software, while maintaining familiarity with other industry software. Serve as the knowledge expert for Canada-specific reporting and documentation (DairyTrace, ProAction, CQM, etc.). Offer basic technical support to North American GEA dealers via phone, email, and TeamViewer for both conventional and automatic milking equipment. Analyze pre-sale and pre-startup herds, prepare dealers and customers, lead milking system startups, and provide follow-up support. Develop, update, and deliver training on herd management software to dealership technicians. Support the field technical team, perform software updates, and monitor test farms. Advise dealers and customers on herd management, performance, and software-related issues. Resolve customer technical issues and escalations. Collaborate with external partners to train and support GEA software interfaces. Submit call reports, progress updates, and dealer evaluations to management. Coordinate with sales personnel on new prospects, potential issues, and dealer matters. Report needs for new products, design, or software changes to your manager. Attend trade shows and industry meetings as required. Your Profile / Qualifications The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $74,000 - $84,000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards. Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, technical, animal science, or related field with 4+ years of experience, or 8+ years of relevant experience without a degree. Proficient in both French and English Extensive background in dairy or animal agriculture. Experience with computer software and networking. Proficient in herd management software and data handling. Hands-on experience in production agriculture systems. Strong team leadership and collaboration skills. Adaptable with the ability to develop quick action plans. Skilled in training, teaching, and technical presentations. Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel up to 60%.
