Warehouse Shipper/Receiver Weir ESCO (CIS) Lively, ON – Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Purpose of Role: Verifies and maintains records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products in support of warehouse operations.. Key Responsibilities: Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy against bills of lading, invoices, and orders Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and products to appropriate departments or storage areas Load, unload, and move materials manually or using handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks Maintain organized inventory by sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or designated bins Prepare shipments by assembling, labeling, and packaging items, and completing necessary documentation Demonstrate 100% commitment to safety and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months of related experience or equivalent combination Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English Basic math skills for measurements and calculations WHMIS, Forklift, and Safety certifications preferred (training available) Strong teamwork, dependability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
