We are looking for experienced carpenters to join our crews. You would work directly with a Lead Carpenter on the tools. If you are a carpenter who enjoys developing and diversifying your skills, we want to hear from you! We have a diverse array of custom projects you’ll be proud to put your name on.
Carpenter Job Scope:
Work on-site on the tools full time.
Demonstrate your ability to work on site independently with minimal direction/supervision from Lead Carpenter on site.
Develop existing skills, learn new skills, and build potential for advancement within the company.
Adhere to company safety, rules, and procedures.
Be a team player and stay busy on site whether you are building, cutting, sweeping, or cleaning up.
Help your Lead Carpenter and follow their plan on building the project.
Help maintain a tidy and safe work site.
Carpenter Qualifications:
5-10 years of carpentry experience.
Prior experience in renovation and/or residential building.
Rough and finish carpentry skills, and knowledge of construction methods and techniques.
Experience working with related building trades.
Must have basic hand and power tools.
Clean record with reliable transportation to jobs around HRM.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail, adaptable, and efficient.
