Hiring Unit: Department of Biology (Professor Hans Larsson) Position Summary: Produces educational content promoting palaeontology and sedimentary geology to form the basis of a website. Monitors and posts social media content (facebook, instagram, tiktok, etc) presenting this education content and live update on dinosaur fossil preparations and geological instruction (e.g. talk about sedimentary geology). Manages video and digital equipment, and coordinates their usage. Organizes individuals (up to 5 volunteers) to assist in content development. Constructs a physical display summarizing the palaeontology and sedimentary geology of Dinosaur Provincial Park. Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities: Attention to detail. Experience with social media. Experience working in a fossil preparation lab. Education/Experience: 2 years minimum of experience working in a palaeontology lab. First aid trainings and WHMIS an asset. Field experience. Location: This position is located in Montreal, Quebec and the work for this position is expected to be performed in Quebec.
