What you’ll do The Director of Agile Acceleration and Performance Management will lead the transformation and enhancement of our agile practices to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization. This role will champion change management, oversee large-scale upskilling programs (e.g., GenAI adoption), and establish a Centre of Excellence for Agile. The ideal candidate will be an expert in agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum), performance KPI automation, and agile tooling, with a proven ability to orchestrate PI planning and foster an engineering culture. SAFe / Agile Centre of Excellence: Lead the innovation and transformation initiatives, focusing on change management and large-scale upskilling programs. Act as a thought leader in defining and implementing CTC's agile practices, including SAFe and Scrum, continuously refining enterprise-level standards and best-practices, especially understanding how AI will change the workforce in conjunction with Agile methodologies. Coordinate PI planning and cross-IT alignment sessions to manage risk and drive collaboration. Develop a playbook for growth of Communities of Practice with a focus on Outcomes and OKR/KPIs. Facilitate an innovation pipeline to test new practices and technologies with leading-edge technology partners. Align with TMO (Transformation Management Office) on overall transformation direction, driving synergy through shared OKRs. Performance Management & KPI Tracking: Design, implement, and automate agile performance KPIs (e.g., velocity, predictability, quality) to support Board and Executive reporting Serve as a central hub for agile performance analytics, providing insights to VP Engineering and other stakeholders. Agile/Scrum Chapter Practice & People Development: Curate career paths for practice roles, including milestones for promotions, lateral movement opportunities, training & certifications. Establish CIO-approved Practice-level OKRs and ensure adherence to practice standards. Track industry trends and evaluate their potential fit for CTC's practices. Change & Culture Championship: Drive organizational change management for new ways of working and adoption of new tools. Establish Engineering Cadence including strategic alignment events like Hackathons and Engineering Rallies. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and agility across the organization. What you bring Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years of experience in agile project management, performance management, or related roles. Proven track record of leading large-scale agile transformations in complex organizations. Expertise in agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum), PI planning orchestration, and agile tooling (Jira Align, Azure DevOps, VersionOne, Miro). Strong knowledge of SDLC innovation factory principles. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
