Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? Purpose of Securitization Finance Group's Origination role is to market, structure, execute and monitor securitized transactions and to be responsible for providing high quality products and services for RBC's clients while at the same time generating a material source of revenue, favorable risk/return profile, cross-selling opportunities and client impact for RBC. What will you do? Responsible for business generation within a specific asset class funded in the CAD conduits and / or directly on the RBC balance sheet Production of marketing material for existing and target clients Assist with client sponsorship review Participate in the Business Approval Process (Commitments Committee) Prepare credit write-ups (Transaction Request) that contain transaction terms and conditions. Coordination of review and approval of Transaction Request by Global Risk Management and the conduit equity provider (where applicable) Conduct client, seller, servicer due diligence. Prepare due diligence report Structure securitization transactions Work with clients and attorneys to develop and negotiate transaction documentation Liaison with rating agencies to obtain rating agency approval Review of monthly client Seller Report Preparation of annual renewals of existing transactions Run transaction returns and optimize financial resources consumed Maintenance of client relationships Prepare marketing material and help fixed income distribution group place public or private term asset-backed securities Proactively identify operational risks / control deficiencies in the business Prepare and manipulate Excel-based cash flow models of transactions Set up transactions on Securitization Finance's database (KME) Manage team members according to Managerial Excellence Manage rating agency relationships for the Canadian ABCP conduits Ongoing conduit management including money market desk relationship, ABCP investor relationships, monitoring liquidity coverage ratio, managing all trust documentation changes and all regulation changes that arise Provide regular updates on conduit performance and any regulatory or legal news Managerial Excellence: Ensure that employees understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviors that contribute to RBC goals Provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance Leverage the value in unit, department, and enterprise-wide teams to develop better solutions and achieve a cross-enterprise mindset Accept and successfully execute change while supporting employees through the process, and keeping them focused on business priorities Understand and exemplify our people driven, client focused leadership model; driving impact, unlocking the potential of our people, adapt quickly, always learning Contribute to an exceptional employee experience through strong people leadership practices that amplify our Collective Ambition and exemplify the Leadership model to inspire, support and empower employees to achieve their potential Growth mindset and a focus on always learning; promotes a value based and inclusive workplace; embraces diverse styles and perspectives; actively mitigates bias and improves diversity representation What you need to succeed? Prior securitization or credit product experience MBA or BS in finance, economics or marketing Solid understanding of credit markets Ambitious individual with strong presentation skills Possess strong written and oral communication skills Ability to prioritize and effectively manage a large workload in ahigh pressure environment Ability to multi-task with little supervision Ability to interact effectively & establish good working relationships with other personnel with internal and external clients High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint & Excel What’s in it for you?
