Role:
Prepare forecasted and actual results of the hatchery operations, broiler production as well as the hatching egg producers. On hatch days you will be responsible for reconciling numbers to be distributed to growers, as well as managing our Harvest Manitoba program. This position is also responsible for projecting the company’s production costs, volume, and KPI stats.

Responsibilities
Coordinate on hatch days the placement of chicks establishing the quantity, age, and breed of chicks to be delivered to each producer.
Finalize hatch week – provide info for entry to AS400 to create invoices. Fill out Hatch Data Collection and enter all hatch information in Excel. Record accurate hatch numbers by hatch day in the Egg Purchase & Hatch Record book. Record import egg data in Excel. Complete weekly report for MBHEC. Prepare and distribute Chick Distribution Report. File papers for future reference.
Maintain producer production stats being sent out with processing results. Update the various input fields for each A period.
Analyze processing yields on a daily basis ensuring all kilograms available for processing have been processed with any losses recorded and accounted for.
Maintain weight /age expectations for broiler market summaries for Monday distribution.
Create manual breeder results report for all breeders after each hatch.
Internal audits of money paid programs.
Review and submit on an as-required basis, the reports and schedules required by the various boards, agencies, and commissions, as well as those required by the division.
Maintain Harvest Manitoba file. Ensuring grower and company files are up to date and prepare for annual audit.
Serve as back up to other members of the field support group.
Holiday backup for AP Production Administrator, Live Haul Scheduling and Planning & Scheduling Coordinator.
Special projects; auditors, QPP files and payments, Xmas gift/card ordering and distribution for all producers and related affiliates, Breeder/Broiler seminars.
Year-end reports for broiler producers as requested.
Requirements
5-6 years’ experience in data administration.
Good foundation knowledge of accounting.
Sound analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills.
Very effective organizational skills and time management skills.
Good computer skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
