Job Description As the Associate RFP and Contracts Manager is responsible for regional contract and RFP management for all consumable, equipment and service contracts and RFPs. The Associate RFP and Contracts Manager will work with key business partners, primarily Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Logistics, and Legal, to ensure successful end-to-end management of all RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and Contracts as well as providing full management for RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and Contracts with professional application of project management skills, as well as engaging in the strategy of the deal providing recommendations, statistics, and any sort of specialized support to stakeholders. You will engage in Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Tender responses supporting all levels of stakeholders till completion of the submission. You will take full responsibility for the contracts and request for proposals under it's umbrella acting diligently in accordance with the processes in place. What you'll be doing Develop, implement, and maintain contracts for regional customers Notify customers of pricing and eligibility accurately and promptly, assisting with the management of the Regional Contract Calendar while considering national perspectives Support RFP Lead with regional RFPs and RFIs Complete and manage the contract process, including new, renewals, capital, consumables, lease agreements, quotes, and extensions Lead the preparation of agreements, contracts, and price quotations, ensuring strict compliance with Baxter's detailed procedures (SOPs, BOPs, Approval Rights, Signature Rights, RACI Matrix, Contract Forms Package, Contract Templates) Coordinate kickoff and status update calls/meetings for resigns with collaborators (sales, marketing, legal, finance, pricing, etc.) Maintain the Big Board and manage the Contract Calendar end-to-end Support other Baxter Canada Contracts and Pricing initiatives as needed Liaise with customers to build opportunities and improve relationships in conjunction with the sales team to improve contract management Provide Sales with monthly status reports on contract renewals/negotiations, identifying outstanding tasks Proactively provide decision support and recommendations to simplify and integrate processes, assessing future support requirements given the dynamic nature of the business Continuously focus on process improvement, challenging the status quo, and evaluating opportunities to simplify, integrate, and accelerate contracting/pricing processes Ensure integrity and compliance with Baxter policies and procedures, maintaining an internal control environment, including compliance with SOX What you'll bring Bilingual proficiency in French/English University Degree required; MBA with a specialization in contract management or business management preferred Minimum of 3 years of related experience; 5+ years in Healthcare preferred Experience in contract and pricing administration, with direct negotiations for small to medium agreements Proven experience in Sales Support, Contract Management, and RFP Management Strong analytical skills Baxter is committed to supporting the need for flexibility in the workplace through our flexible workplace policy.
