We are seeking candidates with expertise in teaching and a strong, innovative research program at the interface of planetary health, environmental determinants of health, pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: exposomics and the impacts of environmental exposures (e.g., pollutants, microbiome, climate) on drug response and disease risk, pharmaceutical pollutants and ecotoxicology, sustainable pharmaceutical development and disposal, climate change and its implications for pharmacotherapy and public health, and the advancement of environmentally responsible pharmacy practices. The successful candidate will: Contribute to the development and delivery of the new French-language Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program, and participate in the teaching of graduate programs offered in English or bilingually; Establish and maintain an externally funded, innovative, and independent research program; Supervise and mentor undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral trainees; Collaborate within the Faculty of Medicine and across disciplines in a vibrant, research-intensive environment. The selected candidate will have access to extensive research infrastructure and shared core facilities within the Faculty of Medicine, as well as collaborative opportunities with nearby hospital-based research institutes. Title of the position: Assistant Professor. The higher ranks will be considered according to budgetary approval.
