We’re looking for a Resource Manager to lead and evolve the systems that keep Today running smoothly. You’ll ensure we’re resourced wisely, working sustainably, and set up to deliver meaningful impact.
About the role
As our Resource Manager, you’ll be a key strategic conduit across Today’s business and delivery operations. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, strategists, producers and researchers to ensure projects are set up for success—from the way we resource and contract, to the rhythms and systems that support our work.
You’ll bring structure, foresight and momentum to our operations, leading resourcing, maturing our internal systems, and making our performance more visible and predictable. You’ll help us grow sustainably by balancing commercial outcomes, team wellbeing, and service quality.
You’ll also work closely with the People, Delivery, and Commercial teams to create conditions where our people thrive and our projects hum. You’ll be someone who gets energy from bringing clarity to complexity, solving operational puzzles, and making things work better for everyone.
Your focus
Leading a high-performing, proactive resourcing system
Improving the internal project experience alongside the People team
Managing client contract workflows end-to-end
Increasing visibility of business and project performance metrics
Evolving scalable systems and processes for a growing, distributed team
Supporting the implementation of a refreshed project cost model
Contributing to operational strategy and business improvement projects
Exploring new tools and approaches (including AI) to strengthen how we work
You will demonstrate
Experience in operations, project delivery or resource management in a design, tech or creative business
Strong capability in capacity planning, workload management and commercial forecasting
Confidence managing systems, tools and processes that support project and business performance
Great judgement and attention to detail when it comes to contracts, scopes and business risk
A track record of improving operational systems in fast-moving environments
A human-centred mindset and ability to collaborate across disciplines
You will also bring
A love of solving problems and getting things humming
A thoughtful, proactive and generous approach to team wellbeing and collaboration
The ability to guide teams through change and ambiguity with clarity and care
A desire to build smart, scale-ready systems that make life easier for everyone
An appreciation for good design and the value of cross-disciplinary work
