Description du poste Êtes-vous un(e) professionnel(le) de la finance proactif(ve) et collaboratif(ve), prêt(e) à prendre les devants? Nous recherchons un(e) Comptable Financier Principal(e) motivé(e) pour devenir le bras droit de confiance du ou de la Gestionnaire de la Comptabilité Financière. Dans ce rôle clé, vous encadrerez et formerez les nouveaux comptables tout en assurant la gestion financière et le contrôle des grands livres du Groupe IPEX. Vous serez responsable de la production des rapports financiers, de la tenue de registres précis, et vous dirigerez le processus de prévisions et de budgétisation pour certains comptes spécifiques — mettant votre expertise là où elle compte le plus. Activités principales Responsable de l’IFRS 16 : comptabilisation, budgétisation et prévisions des baux à long terme. Mise à jour des provisions et coordination avec les membres de l’équipe pour expliquer les écarts. Revue des analyses du bilan et proposition d’améliorations pour enrichir les informations fournies. Analyse mensuelle de divers comptes, notamment juridiques, d’audit et fiscaux. Fournit du mentorat, de la formation et un soutien administratif à l’équipe financière, incluant l’intégration des nouveaux membres et l’assistance au/à la Gestionnaire pour la coordination de l’équipe. Identification et recommandation de solutions pour les risques potentiels pouvant affecter l’intégrité et la ponctualité des informations financières. Contribution à l’optimisation des processus SAP, à l’intégrité des données et à la formation des utilisateurs finaux pour améliorer l’efficacité opérationnelle. Participation et garantie de conformité lors de l’inventaire annuel, généralement effectué à distance. Soutien à l’intégration des nouvelles acquisitions dans les livres comptables. Participation à des projets spéciaux et à des exigences comptables complexes. Connaissances et compétences nécessaires Baccalauréat/certificat universitaire en comptabilité ou dans un domaine connexe Titre CPA (obtenu ou en cours d’obtention) requis. 5 à 7 ans d’expérience pertinente. Expérience dans un environnement international. Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes et en pensée critique. Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en présentation, avec la capacité de vulgariser l’information financière à un public non financier. Maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et PowerPoint. Proactif(ve), autonome et doté(e) d’un fort leadership. Excellentes compétences organisationnelles, capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et souci du détail. Capacité d’adaptation dans un environnement en constante évolution. Bilinguisme (français et anglais) fortement souhaité. Job Summary Are you a proactive and collaborative finance professional ready to take the lead? We’re looking for a motivated Senior Financial Accountant to be the trusted right hand to the Manager, Financial Accounting. In this key role, you’ll guide and train new accountants, while driving the financial management and control of the IPEX Group’s general ledgers. You’ll take ownership of financial reporting, maintain accurate records, and lead the forecasting and budgeting process for select accounts—bringing your expertise to where it matters most. Key Responsibilities Responsible for IFRS 16 – Proper accounting, budgeting, and forecasting of long-term leases. Responsible for updating provisions and coordinating with different team members on the explanations of variances. Review balance sheet analysis and provide improvements to enhance the insights provided by this analysis. Performs monthly analysis of various accounts such as legal, audit and various tax accounts. • Provides mentorship, training, and administrative support to the finance team, including onboarding new members and assisting the Manager with team coordination. Identify and recommend solutions to potential risk areas that could impact the integrity and timeliness of financial information. Assist with SAP process optimization, data integrity, and end-user training to enhance operational efficiency Participates and ensures compliance in the annual inventory count, which generally takes place at a remote location. Assist in integrating new acquisitions into our accounting books Assists with other special projects and other complex accounting requirements that may arise.
