How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? We are looking for a mechanically inclined person to join our maintenance team in Richmond, BC. We are offering this key position to an exceptionally detail oriented, safety conscious and hard working individual. Perform plant/building maintenance related activities that include, but are not limited to: Preventive maintenance tasks according to CMMS/DIMO Corrective maintenance tasks as required Diagnose problems when equipment is not working correctly (troubleshooting) Maintain air/argon, oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen bulk tanks, air and water utilities, electrical (24V only), instrumentation systems inspection and repair, calibration of equipment for gas and liquid filling Complies with all 12 Life Saving Rules Ensure proper maintenance of EIS (Element Important for Safety) and proper documentation Maintain a safety focused environment Maintain inventory of parts and re-order when required Coordinate contractors and follow work until work permit is complete Authorize safe work permit, inclusive of hot work and LOTO Rebuild cryogenic pumps and other equipment based on manufacturer and technical department specifications Must be able to perform O2 cleaning on required equipment, parts, etc. Must attend all monthly maintenance meetings Other responsibilities as assigned by management ___ Are you a MATCH? Technically competent in Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation activities Knowledge of cryogenic equipment, including single cylinder displacement pumps would be considered an asset Oriented toward preventive maintenance and have strong troubleshooting capabilities Basic brazing experience preferred with basic welding experience an asset Confined space entry, work at height, First-Aid, safe work/hot work permit, lockout-tag out (LOTO) and forklift training would be considered as an asset Candidates must pass an Aptitude Test. Candidates with a passing score of 90% or higher will be considered first.
