Mikisew Cree First Nation is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Post-Secondary and High School students to fill 15 summer employment openings in the following roles, with positions available in Edmonton, Fort McMurray, and Fort Chipewyan:
Office Reception Clerk
Activities Leader – Seniors
Casual Worker – Public Works
Carpenter Helper
Material Handler
Finance Clerk
Environmental Technician
Learning and Study Skills Specialist
Campground Worker
Responsibilities may include:
Providing administrative support such as general office duties, filing, and reception
Working with computers and various software programs
Assisting the Elders Coordinator with activities and handyman tasks
Supporting the Tech Services department on various projects
Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a registered full-time student for the 2024–2025 academic year and returning to school in fall 2025
Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual
Must adhere to the MCFN Code of Ethics and Code of Confidentiality at all times
Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) prior to employment
