The Area Supervisor supervises all activities that relate to sites/branches operations, including staff management, safety, quality delivery of a full range of respiratory, Oxygen and CPAP therapy products and home medical equipment, planning, operational efficiencies and evaluating/reporting. The incumbent is accountable for asset equipment utilization and inventory levels to ensure maximum profit. Maintains staff in the multiple branches by supporting the Area Manager in recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. Delivers business results by ensuring employees understand job expectations through setting goals and objectives. Manages employee performance. Enforces systems, policies, procedures and productivity standards. Recommends strategic goals for the area by gathering pertinent business, financial, service and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes. Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; helps the Area Manager prepare an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzes variances; initiates corrective actions. Approves and administers vacation requests and necessary overtime for branch staff. Arranges appropriate coverage for vacation and sick relief for staff in the branches; may include consultation with managers for needed administrative, CST or Driver support. Coordinates daily workload/scheduling of branches and contract staff. Records customer/client complaints and compliments. Coordinates the on-call schedule and communicates it appropriately. Monitors branch activity reports such as; CRM reports, CPAP tracker, Triac Report, Held billing report, Inventory in-transit, Asset movement, Repair Authorization, SAP, near miss report, Oxygen start report and Infection control tracker. Ensures scheduling of client assessments and follow up along with ensuring all tasks associated with client care are completed in a timely fashion. Schedules team for most efficient coverage of territory including on-call rotation for off hours and weekends. Supports Area Manager with the efficient and cost effective implementation of Home Healthcare processes and procedures at area level. Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure that products, assets and inventory used in Home Healthcare operations are maintained according to internal procedures and traced properly. Collaborate with the Clinical Manager to ensure that staff are properly trained and qualified and re-qualified as required by industry regulations Foster a positive work environment by mentoring and developing staff, addressing performance, and promoting continuous improvement. Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures, while encouraging open communication and team collaboration. __ Are you a MATCH? College Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or related field. 3-5 years of experience with supervision of employees in a business or clinical setting. Strong people management and leadership skills.
