Description du poste Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un collaborateur motivé et dynamique pour occuper le poste d’analyste financier – comptabilité. Vous serez responsable de l’exactitude de nos dossiers et états financiers en analysant les comptes du grand livre et en effectuant l’analyse des écarts. Les tâches rattachées au poste comprennent notamment la préparation de rapports financiers et la tenue des documents comptables et financiers, y compris le grand livre général et les rapports réglementaires et d’exploitation. En tant que membre de notre équipe, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec le contrôleur adjoint de la comptabilité afin d’assurer le succès de notre organisation. Job Summary We are currently looking for a motivated and dynamic team player to fill the position of Financial Analyst-Accounting, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and statements by analyzing general ledger accounts and performing variance analysis. This includes areas such as preparing financial reports, maintain accounting and financial records, including general ledger, regulatory and management reports. As a valued member of our team, you'll work closely with the Assistant Controller Accounting to ensure the success of our organization. We're looking for someone with a strong background in accounting and attention to detail. Principal Responsibilities • Perform month-end activities: Analyze monthly variances between current and prior year actuals Identify any risks or opportunities resulting from the above and provide recommendations Perform assigned balance sheet and general ledger accounts reconciliation Perform assigned balance sheet variance analysis Prepare periodic reports for management as requested • Assist in the annual Budget and quarterly Forecast process • Assist in audit (year-end and interim external audit and internal audit) • Apply IFRS rules and ensure compliance of internal controls • Resolve any discrepancies or irregularities found in records, statements, or documented transactions • Participates and ensures compliance in the annual inventory count, which normally takes place at a different city from the home office • Participate in special projects (ERP implementation, Strategic initiatives, Continuous Improvement) • Any other work, duties, projects, or ad hoc requests as assigned Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree/University Certificate in Accounting or related fields Minimum 2-3 years related experience in accounting or audit Fluent in English, French knowledge, an asset Proficient in Microsoft Excel Advanced knowledge of IFRS Experience working for large corporations CPA Designation, an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A reputation for being a proactive, self-driven and resourceful person who can work well both independently and as part of a team Strong analytical problem-solving, critical thinking skills and detail-oriented Able to perform in a fast-paced environment while staying focused on the result Adaptable and flexible in a changing environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Continuous learning and a developmental mindset Travel requirement in North America (1 to 2 business trips per year may be required) IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
