QUALITY SITE MANAGER
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Establishes standards and expectations for implementation of WB Melback Corporation Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) requirements for all aspects of the Project.
Manages staffing requirements and resource sharing for all Quality personnel and scope needs.
As required, selects, and develops the necessary Project QA and QC professionals with a focus on supporting critical succession management.
Provides standardized reporting for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functional areas ensuring that the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and all relevant Project stakeholders have access to valuable data and analytics.
Utilizes reports to anticipate and resolve issues as required.
Manages the performance and strong results of any Quality personnel or subcontracts on the Project, ensuring the team is clear and focused on performance objectives and deliverables.
Owns the Quality Assurance Program and monitoring to ensure appropriate planning, development, documentation, and execution of Quality Programs.
Provides indoctrination and training of project staff and management as defined in the WBM Quality Program.
Site specific responsibilities include:
To support Project Site Team on all matters pertaining to Quality.
To report conditions affecting quality to the Corporate Quality Manager, Project Manager and Construction Manager.
To assist with planning, establishing, documenting, and maintaining the QMP.
To assist with directing the performance of internal and external quality audits including audits and assessments conducted on suppliers.
To indoctrinate and train Quality personnel, as required.
Ensure qualification records of QA & QC personnel are maintained on file.
Participate with the selection and assignment of Project Quality Personnel to ensure they are trained, qualified, competent, and where required certified to perform the assigned functions.
Ensure quality personnel have reviewed contract details pertaining to technical and quality requirements.
Evaluation and selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
Review and acceptance of Client free issue items and supporting documentation.
To provide assistance to Project Management related to matters involving Project Quality Objectives.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
As required or assigned.
Rotations: 14 days in / 14 days out
Shifts: 12 hrs (days/nights)
Location: Northwestern, BC
Flights, Meal Allowance and Camp Accommodations Provided.
Drug & Alcohol clearance required. Provided by the Employer.
