Work Flexibility: Hybrid As a Proposal & Content Specialist at Stryker, you will own and manage the entire proposal development process, from tracking opportunities to submitting proposals and our content development and library. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Pricing, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Proposal colleagues and Senior Leadership to ensure our proposals maximize business opportunities. Responsible to live and exemplify Stryker’s Values: Integrity, Accountability, People, and Performance Functional Responsibilities: Lead Proposal Coordination: Manage the full proposal process from opportunity identification to contract award, ensuring all deadlines are met. Bid Management: Actively seek and evaluate new bid opportunities, driving the bid/no-bid decisions with internal teams. Main Point of Contact: Serve as the go-to person for all proposal inquiries, both internally and externally. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, legal, and other teams to create compelling, compliant proposals that meet and exceed customer needs. Content and Document Management: Design, format, and produce professional proposal documents. Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and adheres to company branding guidelines. Content Library Management (Responsive) Own the organization, governance, and continuous improvement of Responsive (proposal management software), Audit and update content regularly to ensure accuracy, compliance, and relevance. Tag and structure content to maximize searchability, usability, and version control. Partner with SMEs (Marketing, Sales, other proposal colleagues) to create, review, and refine reusable content (e.g., product descriptions, technical responses). Train internal stakeholders on Responsive usage and best practices to drive adoption and efficiency. Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead proposal meetings, keeping all stakeholders informed and documenting key decisions. Proposal Production: Oversee the final production and submission of proposals, ensuring everything is delivered on time and to the highest standard. Procurement Knowledge: Understand and align proposals with procurement processes at various levels, including hospital, regional, provincial, and national buying groups, ensuring compliance with customer and government requirements. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development of proposal processes and tools, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency. Participate in improvement, and execution of standard procedures in the Proposal Team Proposal Tracking: Maintain and update the proposal tracker, including a win/loss dashboard, proposal pipeline, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each division to monitor and report on performance. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
