Responsibilities
Accounting:
· Perform data entry during month end close process including A/R A/P and job costing
· Input vendor and customer information into location accounting software
· Input other accounting information such as fixed asset purchases
· Reconcile accounts as needed
· Assist with check writing and EFT payments when necessary
· Assist other off site and location employees
· Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the location Manager or the Corporate Controller
Financial Planning & Analysis:
· Coordination of the Company’s annual planning and monthly forecasting and reporting processes
· A key support and liaison to the Operations and Plant Managers, through daily support and finance recommendations and guidance
· Prepare the monthly P&L forecast as part of the monthly reporting package for Flash, Corporate Metrics, Brand Growth Reviews, Forecast, and Budget to Management and Corporate stakeholders
· Maintain and develop reporting methods for tracking KPIs against both the Annual Budget and Monthly Forecasts
· Analyze past, current, and future trends and variances for KPIs, including bookings, revenues, costs of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures
· Actively work with Managers and Department Heads to analyze operational performance and ensure that financial targets are being met.
· Support the Management team and Department Heads in making financial decisions by providing in-depth analysis of financial data.
· Assist in the implementation of a Corporate Performance Management (“CPM”) tool or Business Intelligence (“BI”) tool that integrates with the company’s accounting system.
· Support the Controller and Finance team with accounting matters on an as-needed basis and communicate planning assumptions and decisions that impact accounting processes.
· Participate in knowledge-sharing projects and activities with members of the team across all divisions.
· Annually – will be a key resource in the creation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for all assigned locations
· Regularly provide strategic analysis on sales, spending, and labor trends
· Regularly provide analysis on non-revenue generating work; track work orders, rework, unbilled and billed analysis, and overtime analysis
· For all locations, check performance with the use of job orders (through the WIP summary and/or Revenue recognition reports) in order to track deadlines and budgets
· On a weekly basis, prepare and present reports at the Weekly Operations review meetings
· Each month, create KPI’s through a Balanced Scorecard platform for all department heads to present/review at the monthly management meetings
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr.
