Your ability to organize and execute impactful demos will also support new sales efforts, making you an essential part of our team’s success. Job Description: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., Caterpillar) to align product offerings with customer needs and market trends. Serve as the subject matter expert on product application, ensuring the right machine is matched to the right job. Analyze industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions. Forecast industry demand and manage inventory planning in alignment with long-term sales goals. Support sales execution by providing technical expertise, training, and content that enhances product positioning. Create customized solutions that highlight total cost of ownership advantages and drive competitive differentiation. Act as a key liaison with Caterpillar’s CI team and other strategic partners to influence product development and support. Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure strategic initiatives are executed effectively across departments. Monitor performance metrics such as PINS, POPS, profitability, and technology adoption to measure success and refine strategies. Qualifications: 8–10 years of industry and heavy equipment operating experience, including 5+ years in commercial leadership roles. WorkSafe BC certification is considered an asset. Strong knowledge of Caterpillar products, industry trends, and customer applications. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive measurable results. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to solve complex business problems. Experience in content creation, sales enablement, and delivering impactful product demonstrations. Results-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Note: This position is based out of our Surrey office location. 50% travel required for this role. Permanent, full-time role. 5 x 2, Monday – Friday shift.
