Keyera Career Opportunity Job Type: Permanent THE POSITION Keyera’s Sustainability Team is looking for a Senior Emissions Advisor to assist in the estimation and management of its air emissions and corporate inventories. This role will have responsibilities which include the collection, integration, and management of air emissions data. The successful candidate will be based in the Calgary office and will liaise with internal and external stakeholders in support of Keyera’s air emissions and sustainability metrics related requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Compiling and tracking emissions related data and maintaining information in Keyera’s emissions management systems. Analyzing, evaluating and reporting on air emissions and sustainability data for various internal, external, federal, and provincial reporting programs including but not limited to TIER, NPRI, GHG, Methane, Benzene inventories, MSAPR, ESG, and the Alberta Annual Emissions Inventory Report. Develop and maintain facility and equipment inventories using Keyera’s reporting software. Develop, implement and maintain data to create flexibility for informative reports that support the sustainability team, corporate targets, and various special projects. Develop auditable simplified workflows and specific work procedures to increase data access and transparency between corporate data, and various stakeholders. Review and suggest changes to the current workflows that will ultimately improve productivity, and Keyera’s emissions inventory management plan. Identify and implement improvements to the process of data collection and management of metrics necessary to efficiently report on Emissions. Other relevant duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate will be self-motivated, energetic, and thorough with the following qualifications: Bachelor's Degree is minimum requirement (with field of Engineering or Data Analytics considered an asset.) A well-organized, energetic, and detail-oriented individual with 10+ years of relevant experience. Detailed knowledge of Alberta TIER regulation. Detailed knowledge of quantification of greenhouse gas emissions. Prior experience working with air emissions data (dispersion modelling experience is an asset) and other environmental data collection. A relationship builder focused on achieving successful adoption of standardized business practices and a willingness to travel regularly to various Keyera sites throughout Alberta. Excellent communication and work organization skills with proven ability to work with multiple projects, teams, and deadlines. Strong technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data management. Experience with analytics, Maximo and Power BI would be an asset. Adaptable and flexible in their approach, recognizing sometimes individual contribution is required to fill a specific gap and other times influencing adoption through consensus. Ability to work and set priorities in a multi-task environment with minimal supervision.
