Accountabilities:
- Deliver responsive technical support by managing helpdesk tickets, onboarding/offboarding staff, and troubleshooting a wide range of systems and applications.
- Oversee and execute IT-related projects that improve operational efficiency, including automation, internal software enhancements, and cost-effectiveness initiatives.
- Strengthen cybersecurity across the company through proactive risk management, internal training, threat monitoring, and policy development.
- Support a wide range of platforms and applications while contributing ideas for improving internal systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of IT solutions and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- For experienced candidates: potentially supervise junior IT staff and lead complex, company-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Quick learner with a strong appetite for tackling new challenges and solving unfamiliar technical problems.
- Comfortable working independently and owning complex projects without step-by-step guidance.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Clear, empathetic communicator capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-evolving startup environment.
- Preferred (but not required):
- 3+ years of experience in IT, project/product management, or software development.
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) or security clearance.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
