Job DescriptionWhat you’re responsible for:Safely operating a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facilityLifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely placing them in designated areas or processing equipmentLoading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load securityCollaborating and communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnelConducting pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenanceOperating the following heavy equipment: Crane, Shear, LoaderQualificationsTo join our team:You hold a Crane Operator certification and/or equivalent experienceYou have a minimum of 1 year of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial settingYou have great attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materialsYou have a solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handlingYou are familiar with various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples
