The Combustion Mechanical Designer will have the exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of innovative projects involving both existing and next-generation gas turbine engines. He’ll engage with dynamic, cross-functional teams across the company and collaborate with both internal and external suppliers and customers. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Combustion Design within the Combustion Module group, he will play a key role in shaping cutting-edge combustion technologies in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Mississauga, and is exclusively on-site. What will your day-to-day look like? Design combustion mechanical components (Liners, Fuel Nozzles, Fuel Manifolds, Gas Generator and Diffuser Cases, Diffuser Pipes, Bearing Housings...) Plan, schedule and coordinate design and analytical activities. Lead multidisciplinary teams during the design phase. Solve mechanical design problems on existing engines. Produce engineering documents to communicate solutions to mechanical design problem What do you need to be successful?
