This role involves extensive travel within the Montreal, QC area with occasional travel to the U.S. Please note that this is a fixed-term position. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet assigned revenue and profitability sales targets and expand business within assigned territory. Develop and maintain successful customer relations with purchasing and end users. Make decisions independently, use available resources, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to meet customer needs. Handle pricing within territory to control profitability. Maintain accurate reporting and records for proper management of territory. Connect with supervisor regarding any customer issues or potential problems and perform other tasks assigned by the manager. Inform customers of supply and price trends, assist in inventory control, and consult with customers. Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations. Keys to Success: Education Bachelor's degree required (preferably Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field). Experience 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry, or equivalent lab experience. Fully bilingual: French and English. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Enthusiastic and driven with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills. Outstanding organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects. Works exceptionally well in team environments. Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications. Strong industry, clinical, and science background preferred. Able and willing to travel to customer locations (mostly Central and Eastern Montreal). Driver's license and vehicle required.
