Tornatech is currently looking for a Production Employee for its Laval team. A person who is manual, hard working and have a great willingness to learn.

Daily tasks:
Follows fire pump controller project plans provided by the engineering department to execute all production functions, that include lay-out and mounting, electrical wiring, soldering, box preparation and final assembly;
May be assigned a particular function for projects in production; may be transferred to other functions at any time;
Mounting:
Check the “material kits” to ensure that all components required by the project BOM are available;
Select the appropriate components and install them on the mounting plate, following the standardized engineering drawings and corresponding instructions.
Final Assembly:
Check box preparation and wiring of mounting plates;
Carry out mechanical assembly of plates in controller box;
Carry out final assembly including: interconnection, power wiring of autotransformers, installation of safety handle, installation of handle mechanism and labeling.
Box preparation:
Prepare controller boxes by installing handles, labels and lights.
Solder feet, transformer studs and any other options ordered by the customer.
Wiring:
Check panel mounting;
Follow standardized wiring diagrams and instructions provided by the engineering department to connect wires between components installed on mounting plates;
Wire modules, contactor plates and automatic inverters as required.
Performs any other tasks required by his supervisor.
Our future colleague has what it takes:
• Great skill with hand tools: electric screwdriver, ratchet, cutter wrench and crimping tool;
• Good ability to work standing for long periods;
• Experience in electrical assembly (ASSET);
• Able to read electrical plan (ASSET).
