Your key role will be to replenish raw materials at our production sites while ensuring the reliability, timeliness, and quantity of supplies. You will be responsible for coordinating replenishment with our suppliers by fostering strong professional relationships. Your responsibilities will include raw material planning, purchase order management, safety stock analysis, and inventory movement tracking. Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing new work methods aimed at reducing the overall operational costs of Agropur’s plants and peripheral warehouses. All of this will take place in a dynamic and collaborative environment within a growing department. Salary scale 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills.) What this role involves: Managing raw material requirements (MRP) – planning and purchasing based on the master production schedule (MPS) generated by the production planning team. Defining and maintaining MRP parameters in SAP to ensure the system generates purchase proposals based on production site constraints and supplier business rules, such as safety stock, lot size, and lead time. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of raw materials, as well as with internal stakeholders such as procurement, S&OP, marketing, logistics, and the production team. Working closely with the production and supply planning teams to align inbound material planning with production schedule requirements. Monitoring and acting on current KPIs, such as raw material inventory days and loss projections, to support continuous improvement. Adjusting the raw material replenishment plan based on demand or production forecast variances. Developing and documenting inter-site contingency plans. Keeping transactional and system data up to date. Participating in a knowledge-sharing community. Promoting and supporting Agropur’s culture of continuous improvement. Contributing to team efforts by supporting related activities as needed. Other assigned or necessary projects or tasks. What you need to join our team: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with a specialization in supply chain/logistics/operations. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role. Proven experience in raw material planning, procurement, or supply chain management; experience in the food industry is an asset. Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, highly organized with problem-solving abilities. Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written) to facilitate communication with various collaborators within the organization. Excellent communication and negotiation skills (in both French and English). Team spirit with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
