We are expanding our Ludec, Alberta Hub Team with Millwrights who can best support our customers. Partner with the best These positions will be responsible to perform on-site installation and maintenance services of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation under Field Specialist supervision. All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property, mainly within the Canada region. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. As a Millwright you will be responsible for: All on site (Customer or BH Site) life extensions, repairs and inspection-related service activities able to be performed at customer site, includes onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, generator diagnostics. The person will be capable to work with hydraulic tooling devices, control fixtures, disassemble, reassemble machinery, rigging and lifting. Person needs to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications, in detail, Instrument Specifications, mechanical auxiliaries, etc. Ideally certified as apprentice industrial mechanics (millwrights) or in process for such certification. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a 2yr technical degree or related education along with 4+ yrs of millwright experience related to mechanics, mechatronics or electromechanics. Have 2+ yrs in experience in Baker Hughes or similar rotating equipment including site operation, commissioning, and start-up. Be experienced with gas turbines within the O/G industry Ideally be certified as apprentice industrial mechanics (millwrights) or in process for such certification. Able and willing to work on Field Services outages 60-70 % of the time including projects in the Americas region both on-shore and off-shore sites. Able to lift up to 50lbs and be physically capable in a manufacturing environment. Salary for these positions range from 70-90k CAD plus overtime and other incentives.
