The Sales Director – Foodservice and non commercial will be responsible for determining profitable growth opportunities with the various assigned customer accounts. What’s involved in this role: · Ensure gross margin and volume targets are met by effectively managing current operations and increasing volume within categories · Develop long-term business strategies that align with the long-term objectives of clients and Agropur; develop annual budgets and business plans for clients, then use appropriate tools for monitoring and measuring results · Coordinate execution requirements ensuring customer plans meet overall business strategies and objectives · Manage all aspects of key account elements, including pricing and promotional programs, new product introductions, forecasts, marketing investments, as well as debit notes, budgets, commercial agreements, account plans, and manage the daily needs of customers · Support, supervise and enrich the skills of members of the sales team to ensure their professional development · Support the introduction of categories missing from our current banners and pursue other opportunities with new clients · Acts as contact with national and regional associations (Restaurants Canada, Coffee & Tea Association, CAFP, etc. What you need to join our team: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or other relevant field • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in account management • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in team management • Relevant experience in the food or consumer products industry (an asset) • Proven leadership, coaching and communication skills • Excellent analytical skills, developed strategic thinking • Business acumen, negotiation and influence • Ability to manage several files/projects simultaneously, establish priorities, respect deadlines • Concise and effective communication as well as active listening • Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written • Proficiency of common software Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Knowledge of data from various market analysis systems (Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link, Dunhumby, NPD).
