Your Contribution
As a Team Lead, Electrical you will work in collaboration with the Electrical Team
Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership, direction and support for members of the team
Enhance, develop and mobilize the team of Engineers and Technologists
Senior Electrical Designer responsible for preparing, reviewing and overseeing electrical designs
Project management of design projects
Preparation of proposals
Determine areas of potential improvement and direct the implementation of change to address these areas
Work with discipline leads and project managers to ensure projects are set up and executed in full compliance with quality standards and regulations
Lead team recruitment with HR representatives; resume review, interviews and offers
Help manage the training plans and career development of employees
Execute the Englobe performance management program and oversee any required disciplinary review
Build and/or support client relationships at the appropriate level
Chair regular communication and meetings for the team
Participate in regional strategic planning meetings including preparing operating budgets for your group.
Implement up-to-date business processes.
Work with the Director of Operations to implement and execute strategies for the business unit.
Your Profile
A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the consulting industry
A minimum of 10 years of experience designing electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, communications, etc.)
Experience preparing drawings, NMS specifications and cost estimates
Experience using AutoCAD, REVIT, AGI32, SKM and other design tools.
Experience in managing projects and/or teams;
Experience and personal skills to mentor junior staff;
University Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or College Diploma in a relevant field
Superior communication skills, written and verbal
Possession of or eligibility to obtain security clearance required
Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
