We are currently seeking Farm Labourers to join our operations on an off-grid property near McBride, BC. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensure the effective and efficient improvement of this unique property.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with construction and carpentry projects.
Operate and maintain farm equipment as required.
Assist with general clean-up of fencing, fields and outbuildings.
Work with team members to ensure tasks are completed within timelines and to specifications.
Perform general farm maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Report any issues or incidents to the supervisory staff or property owner promptly.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous experience in farming or agricultural roles is preferred.
Ability to perform hard physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Familiarity with operating farm machinery is an asset.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Valid driver’s license is required.
This temporary position pays $300 per day, based on a 10-hour shift, dependent upon experience.
Room and board will be provided on site.
