What you’ll do: You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:
You will be responsible for leading the team in providing legendary customer service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here." This will be accomplished by:
Supervising and delegating employee’s workflow and duties while ensuring all staff are following safety standards as well as Legacy Co-op's policies and procedures.
Completing reviews on Team Members - plan, monitor and review Team Member performance as it relates to the Performance Management process.
Providing ongoing and frequent communication and coaching
Onboarding and training new staff
Demonstrating leadership in the operation of Point-of-Sale system.
Assisting with interviews as needed
General Food Store duties as required - stocking, receiving, ordering, opening, closing, operate POS system
Who you are: You are interested in a career in customer service and:
You have prior supervisory experience (considered an asset)
You have above average communication skills and computer skills
You have retail experience in the areas of customer service and merchandising
Have knowledge of retail grocery operations and willing to expand knowledge in this area
You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
You are willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
You are physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climb ladders and kneel
