As a Truck Driver – Class A, you will drive mostly bulk, moving floor and flatbed trailers to deliver products to our clients. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safe and effective handling of our different soils, composts, and substrates (bulk and bags). Amongst other things, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s good image with the clients and complete the required shipping/transportation documents while verifying the accuracy of the documents. If you have the following qualifications, you are the person we are looking for! Valid Class A driver’s license or Class 1 (Quebec) More than 8 years of experience to related tasks. Good driving record (points/accidents) Have an energy efficient approach. Significant experience in customer service and deliveries. Good geographical knowledge of Ontario and Quebec roads. Good knowledge of general mechanics. Ability to communicate and build relationships with customers. Be autonomous and able to drive in a variety of weather conditions. Have the ability to drive heavy equipment is an asset. You must be available during the day and evening. The hours are approximately 60 hours per week, and the short trips will allow you to go back home every night.
