Through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), we provide mental health support to employees and their families. How You Will Make a Difference: As an EAP counselor, you will provide counseling services in-person, by video, or by phone to TELUS Health EAP clients in your area, as needed. You will work as a self-employed professional based on your capacity to accept new clients. You will provide short-term counseling services to a diverse set of clients facing various issues, according to the terms and conditions of the client’s EAP. You will manage a varied workload, adapted to different types of clients and reasons for consultation. You Possess: A Master's/Doctorate in the field of mental health and/or human relationships; Hold the title of psychologist, psychotherapist, social worker, psychoeducator, or sexologist; Be a member in good standing with your professional order in Quebec; A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience; Post-graduate experience in counseling diverse populations; The ability to set short-term goals and use a solution-focused approach; The ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who pose a threat to themselves or others; A good knowledge of community resources.
