HOURLY RATE- $18.82 FULL TIME HOURS - MONDAY- FRIDAY WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The Slope Maintenance worker performs slope maintenance tasks in conjunction with multiple Mountain Operations Departments to provide our guests and staff with a hazard free and pleasurable mountain experience. Placement, positioning and upkeep of padding and fencing Tree line trimming and removal of fallen trees or other hazardous items from trails Respond to and document issues reported by Ski Patrol in an appropriate time frame Communicate electrical issues in regards to night lighting and any other hazards to the appropriate departments. Maintain the general appearance of guest staging/gathering areas Maintain snow levels around buildings, hill benches and waste receptacles Responsible for removing and placing ski racks on nightly basis Hand Cleaning of hills and rest areas. WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME? Must be able to operate a range of equipment from simple handheld tools to power tools Experience in minor maintenance and repair of equipment an asset Must be able to follow established procedures and takes responsibility for completing assigned tasks and to document Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment Must be safety conscious and wear required safety equipment when on the job Experience in slope maintenance an asset Experience in snowmobile operation an asset (internal training provided) Knowledge of Resort an asset Valid Class “G” Drivers Licence in good standing required AUTHENTICITY | EMPOWERMENT | COLLABORATION | PURPOSE BLUE MOUNTAIN RESORT COMPANY OVERVIEW Blue Mountain Resort is Ontario’s largest mountain resort.
