Job Title: Shutdown Journeyperson Millwrights
Job Summary:
We are seeking Journeyperson Millwrights with industrial/shutdown experience for an upcoming turnaround projects in Fort McMurray, AB.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, align, maintain, dismantle and overhaul machinery, such as pumps, heavy mechanical equipment, conveyor systems, pulleys, mechanical clutches, gear boxes, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
Start up and shut down equipment in line with company safety procedures for equipment under power and Occupational Health and Safety requirements
Install power drives in correct position, and align power shafts, and pulleys
Install and/or change the layout of machines and mechanical equipment in a facility
Use hoists, forklift trucks, rollers, or trolleys to move machinery. Frequently work with electrician or pipefitter to complete dismantling or installation jobs
Repair any problems associated with new equipment
Make or repair machine guards and install machinery. Check guards to assure that they have enclosed equipment properly. Notify supervisor of potential hazards and corrective actions are taken or documented
Perform repairs on all equipment in the facility, including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrically driven equipment within Federal and Provincial standards
Perform other duties designated by Maintenance Superintendent as required
Qualifications:
CSO (Common Safety Orientation) - Energy Safety Canada (ESC)
Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection
Energy Safety Canada Confined Space
Journeyperson Ticket
Satisfactory completion of a Pre-access Drug and Alcohol Test
Travel & Schedule:
Willing to stay in camp accommodations
Travel to site provided
Various Rotation as per client requirement
