Job Description: THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVISION OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILL BUILDING AND CONSULTATION TO FAMILIES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS IN MEETING THE NEEDS OF PERSONS WITH COGNITIVE DISABILITIES WHO HAVE SIGNIFICANT BEHAVIORAL, DEVELOPMENTAL, AND MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES. THIS POSITION WORKS COLLABORATIVELY WITH THE LOCAL COGNITIVE DISABILITIES STRATEGY COMMITTEE (REFERRAL SOURCE). THE SASKATCHEWAN COGNITIVE DISABILITY STRATEGY PROVIDES SERVICES TO ADDRESS THE UNMET NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH COGNITIVE DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE CATCHMENT AREA FOR THE POSITION IS THE PRINCE ALBERT PARKLAND HEALTH REGION WITH CONSULTATION TO THE KELSEY TRAIL HEALTH REGION.
