Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician on a full-time permanent basis on our Corporate Accounting team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:
Receive prepayment instructions from commodities, code for payment and process debit or credit memos.
Reconcile various vendor accounts by comparing the invoices and credits on the vendors’ statement with the invoices and credits in FCL’s vendor file. Follow up on discrepancies with FCL stakeholders and the vendor.
Input prepayment transactions into point-of-sale system and check that the prepayment balance in the point-of-sale system equals the prepayment balance in JDE.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, with limited complexity
Input month end inventory numbers into ORM.
Other duties as required.

The Team: You will work closely with other Accounting Technicians, Analysts and Accountants and report into the Manager, Energy & Ag Accounting. This team works together to cultivate a culture of collaboration and support.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
You have a High School diploma and two post-secondary courses in financial accounting (from an accredited post-secondary institution).
You have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant accounting experience.
