What We Offer!A starting wage of $23.60/hourSchedule: Day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Competitive vacation, benefits, and RRSP matching programAIM annual scholarship program of up to $8,500 per eligible dependentThe tools and support needed to succeed in your career and professional developmentA dynamic and rewarding work environment that’s also a lot of fun!Job DescriptionWhat you’re responsible for: Receive metal and deliver it to the appropriate locationsUnload trucks and inspect material qualityTransport car bodies and other ferrous materials to the shredder loading areaMove bins containing non-ferrous materialsPerform material identification tests using appropriate products or magnetsAssess and remove unsellable materialTake physical inventory of stock according to the set scheduleRecord incoming and outgoing material weights in reportsGrease machine parts that require lubrication as neededWash the machine when requiredQualificationsTo join our team: You are able to drive and operate a manual heavy Shunt truckYou have a valid Class 5 driver’s licenseYou have at least one year of experience in a similar roleYou are bilingual (an asset)You are safety-consciousYou are good at managing prioritiesYou communicate wellYou enjoy teamwork
