Join our team today!Job DescriptionWorking within a program management model and reporting to the Clinical Services Manager in consultation with the Professional Leader, the successful candidate will provide quality, client-centered, occupational therapy services. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as a contributing member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct patient care, including education to patients and families, and consultation in the OP Rehab Department- OT Hands Clinic, Plastic Clinics/Fracture Clinic, Neuro Rehab program, WSIB Specialized care program as required. You may also be required to supervise students. You will practice in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the COTO.QualificationsM.Sc. or B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy, or equivalentRegistered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of OntarioMembership in CAOT or OSOT preferredExperience with splinting and working with post-surgical hands requiredExperience with psychosocial, cognitive, perceptual and physical health related assessment and intervention skills addressing occupational performance is an assetExperience with triaging referrals, assessment, development of treatment plans for clients, which may include individualized cognitive-perceptual, physical rehabilitation, and self-care programs.Experience with WSIB clients and return to work planningKnowledge of evidence-based clinical practice related to hand and upper extremity protocolsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent time management and organizational skills requiredKnowledge of evidence-based clinical practice related to hand and upper extremity protocolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills requiredGood critical thinking and problem-solving skills requiredExcellent attendance, punctuality, and work recordMay be required to travel between and work at all hospital sitesAdditional InformationHours: Currently Days/Evenings, (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)Internal application deadline: June 23, 2025Salary:
