Our client, a large technology company, is currently looking to hire for a city specialist to join their team in Vancouver, BC! The ideal candidate has their own vehcile to get around Vancouver and is able to speak English and Cantonese OR Mandarin.

About the Role - We're looking to grow our Local presence in some of Canada’s largest cities! Join our client as a City Specialist to become an expert in investigating and addressing the most pressing needs and concerns of our client's local partner merchants. This role will be split roughly between 80% working in the field with partnered merchants & 20% working from home. Projects you’ll work on will primarily consist of meetings with restaurants to i) schedule calls with our sales team, ii) support new restaurants that are joining the platform & iii) help us gain a better understanding of what restaurants top priorities are.

Qualifications
• 6+ months of previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in-person sales/support
• You have Strong Communication skills - English
• You have Microsoft Office/ Gsuite proficiency - (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets) and basic technological fluency; phone, tablet, and computer and are comfortable with basic troubleshooting
• Must have access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license
NICE TO HAVES:
- bilingual (Cantonese/Mandarin) - STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Experience using a Macbook/Mac OS - STRONGLY PREFERRED
- You have knowledge of using Salesforce and Slack
- You have knowledge in SQL

Candidate will likely be spending 5 days a week in the field at the start, but not necessarily forever, similar to the City Specialist role new projects show up all the time. This person will be acting as an in-person account manager - dropping in to meet prospective Merchants, presenting a strong first impression, and setting up a follow-up call/meeting for a sales rep.

- Fuel allowance: 75c per KM
Work Environment:
• Full-time - 40 hours
• Monday – Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm PST
• Mondays will be work from home, Tuesday - Friday will be on the road/in the field days
• Locations to cover: Vancouver, BC area
Duration: 6 month contract to start with opportunity of extension OR conversion to permanent
Pay: $23/hr
