Job Summary Job Description WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Enterprise Architecture team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBC’s ongoing plan to improve technology management and architectural governance across the organization. In this role you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing successful implementation of the above mentioned. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Process payroll for 3 payroll frequencies (Bi-weekly, Monthly, and Semi-monthly) Tier 3 (highest & most complex) problem resolution. Investigate and develop resolution independently and determines when to collaborate with specialty HR areas to arrive at a resolution. Utilize multiple sources, including experience, product knowledge and reference material to resolve issues. Issue Record of Employment forms using ROE Web and SAP, and action requests from Service Canada. Run and review daily audit reports. Review other payroll reports for accuracy and ensure accuracy of information updated in WorkDay & SAP. Document processes, create and update job aids ensuring instructions are continuously maintained. Effective and efficient Service Now case management Accountable to deliver a positive employee experience through day to day inquires and processes. Responsible for testing as well as Year-end duties relating to AIP and BSR. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have: University Degree/Professional payroll qualifications/Professional HR qualifications Promotes a customer/employee experience mindset & leads by example Strong organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and prioritize work effectively. Adaptable with the ability to work under pressure in a team environment. Builds influence and works collaboratively across functions and across all levels of RBC. Drives collaborative work within team. Demonstrates a growth mindset to innovate and make work simpler, faster, better Nice-to-have: Extensive experience with employee life cycle and payroll management in a large organization. Experience of working with WorkDay, SAP is an advantage as well as Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word etc) Considerable experience of the principles and operation of payroll/ tax requirements is essential.
