Tool Crib Attendant
Job Summary
We are seeking a Tool Crib Attendant who main residence is in Calgary, AB, Vancouver, BC or Smithers, BC. The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for maintaining the tool crib inventory and distributing supplies.
Key Responsibilities
Issue tools as required.
Maintain accurate record of tools taken and returned.
Identify broken tools and repair tools or arrange for repairs.
Arrange for replacement of missing tools.
Maintaining organization of the tool crib
Ensure cleanliness of the tools and tool crib area.
Ability to track and maintain consumable levels
Required Experience
General knowledge of tools is required.
A minimum of 2 years previous experience working with tools or in a tool crib.
Forklift training is an asset.
Experience with parts manuals and identifying components and parts to repair and replace tools is required.
Experience with tooling to repair heavy equipment is required.
Able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Rotations: 14 days in / 14 days out
Shifts: 12 hrs (days/nights)
Location: Northwestern, BC
Flights, Meal Allowance and Camp Accommodations Provided.
Drug & Alcohol clearance required. Provided by the Employer.
