Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircrafts and parts. Establishes specifications, performs analysis, and conducts performance tests. Predicts new and derivative noise levels and designs elements of vehicles and systems to ensure compliance with noise regulations, specifications and guarantee requirements. Represent the acoustics discipline in review meetings. Lead/Perform aircraft /engine noise calculation to support advanced design studies and proposals. Derive specification for engine/IPPS acoustics to meet system level requirements. Define, plan and support the execution of verification and validation noise test in support of engine development programs. Elaborate and participate/Lead R&T projects, and collaborate with universities and industrial research partners. Ability to work on UNIX and Windows environments. Knowledge of gas turbine engine and aircraft. Strong Interpersonal and analytical skills. Autonomous and self-starter; Proficient with MS-Excel VBA/ Macros, Matlab, Python, C++, CATIA V5, meshing/CAE. The candidate should have proven experience in CFD/CAA (Computational AeroAcoustics) analysis preferably in aerospace industry.
